We fix HubSpot and the numbers that come out of it.

A small team of revenue operators and engineers. Our founder spent four years inside a logistics SaaS company going from sales-ops contractor to running RevOps, and built the platform the whole revenue team now works in. We do that for other companies: HubSpot, CRM cleanup, automation, and helping you build your own go-to-market platform instead of renting one.

30 minutes, no deck. We'll poke around your HubSpot before the call so the time goes to your problem.

A sales OS on top of HubSpot for a logistics SaaS company. Our founder designed, built and ran it alone in 15 months. We'll help your team build one.

What we do

Salecopy.io is a small revenue operations team in Los Angeles. We work with B2B companies that run on HubSpot and have outgrown the way it was set up. Three kinds of work: the system people work in (HubSpot architecture, CRM data, automations), the numbers that come out of it (pipeline, win rate, attribution, renewals), and AI tooling that gets metered and checked instead of trusted blindly. If you'd rather own the whole thing, we'll help your team build an in-house platform and hand it over.

Services

Every project starts with a look at what you already have and ends with documentation your team can run without us.

Fractional RevOps

Need someone senior two days a week? HubSpot admin, reporting, forecasting, tooling decisions, the AI roadmap. Same person every week, same written standards.

Ask about a retainer

ROI and pricing calculators

Customer-facing ROI and pricing tools your reps use live on calls. Every input shows where it came from, so the output holds up when the prospect's CFO pushes back.

Part of the platform work

How we work

Four rules. They show up in everything we hand over.

A number without its denominator is not a metric

Every analysis we publish says what was queried, what was excluded and what we didn't verify. The exclusion list is generated, not typed, so it can't go stale.

Corrections are dated, never silent

When we get a number wrong, the fix goes at the top of the page people already quoted. Most of the corrections in our portfolio are to our own work.

Finish before adding

Each sprint starts by making something that already exists correct and visible before anything new ships.

Meter the AI before you build the feature

Every model call gets a cost and an owner. If a feature can't beat the baseline it gets cut. We've cut our own.

Work

Things we found that changed a decision. Names left out, numbers exact.

Platform build

173 tables · 128 routesbuilt in 15 months

We built the platform a four-department revenue org now runs on

It started as an ROI calculator for the sales team at a logistics SaaS company. Fifteen months later it was the system sales, account management, marketing and finance work in every day. Every external system mirrored into Postgres, one screen per deal instead of six tools, and an AI layer where every one of 157K+ annual model calls is costed.

  • No third-party API on any read path. Nothing waits on a vendor when a page loads.
  • One privileged credential, in one place. Writes go through a field allowlist.
  • Renewal dates ranked by how sure we are of them, so leadership can see how much of the book is fact and how much is guess.

CRM cleanup

$13.78M → $11.21Mcorrected booked revenue

The booked revenue that was counted twice

An onboarding pipeline recorded the delivery of a sale, not the sale. 61 of its 67 wins duplicated a sales deal. Because onboarding lags sales by about a year, the problem grew every year: 0% in 2023 and 2024, 24.7% in 2025, 35.7% in 2026. Fixing it moved like-for-like growth from +16.5% to −20.9%. We had already presented the +16.5%.

  • The rule we wrote afterward: always ask what's underneath a correction that improves the number.
  • The dated correction went at the top of the page people had already quoted.

AI automation

78% of AI spendre-scoped to three bands

The flagship AI deal score was worse than a coin flip

The AI lead score ate most of the AI budget across three prompts. Back-tested on 1,171 closed deals it looked fine, AUC 0.642. Limited to deals that reached a demo, the ones reps actually triage, it dropped to 0.492. It had been detecting whether a deal moved at all, not whether it would close. What survived was coarse triage: the top band won 20.8% against a 13.8% baseline, the bottom band 3.9%.

  • Re-scoped from ten tiers to three bands, with the caveat inside the API payload so nobody can read the number without it.
  • We recommended against spending more to fix it.

Who you'd be working with

A small team, led by Neel Patel.

Neel spent four years carrying a quota at SaaS companies (129% and 152% attainment, so he knows what reps do at 4pm on a Thursday), then four years inside one logistics SaaS company going from sales-ops contractor to Revenue Operations Manager. In the last fifteen months there he designed, built and ran the platform the entire revenue org works in, alone.

Around him: operators and engineers we've worked with for years on HubSpot, data and front-end work, brought in per project. Salecopy.io has been running since 2023.

More about us

“We'd rather hand you the honest list of what's wrong with a system than have you find it. Two chapters of the design doc for our own platform are a catalogue of its incidents and its debts.”

Questions we get

What does Salecopy.io do?

We're a revenue operations team in Los Angeles. We work with B2B companies on HubSpot, CRM cleanup, AI tooling for sales teams, revenue analytics, and building in-house go-to-market platforms. Projects are fixed scope and start with a free 30-minute look at your CRM.

Who is it for?

B2B software and services companies with 5 to 200 people across sales, marketing and customer success, usually on HubSpot, where the CRM has outgrown its setup or the reports stopped agreeing with each other.

How does an engagement start?

A 30-minute call where we open your CRM together. You leave with a written list of what's broken and what it'd take. Most people then do a fixed-price audit or cleanup.

Who does the work?

A small team led by Neel Patel, who is on every project. Neel went from enterprise sales to Revenue Operations Manager at a logistics SaaS company, where he built the platform the whole revenue team runs on. For bigger platform builds we bring in operators and engineers we have worked with for years.

Do you work with companies outside Los Angeles?

Yes, nearly everything is remote. We're in Cerritos, California, and work with companies across the US.
